How it works

Book ahead. Drop off. Get a text.

Everything happens in your building's garage. Here's what to expect, start to finish.

1

Pick your service and an open date

We work 7 days a week (closed on Ontario statutory holidays, Easter Monday, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve), and you can book up to about 6 months ahead, right into the new year. Each date takes up to 6 cars, so every car gets proper time. There are no same-day bookings: a date closes at 6 PM the day before, or as soon as it's full.

2

Pre-pay online

Pay through our secure online checkout to lock in your spot. You get a booking code you can use to check your status any time.

3

Drop off at the wash spot

On your date, bring your car to the GarageDay wash spot in your garage at the start of your time slot (8:30 – 10:30 AM, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, 1:15 – 3:15 PM) and leave the keys with our staff. Take valuables with you. You'll find the spot signed on the day.

4

We do the work, on the mat

Our own trained staff clean your car on a containment mat with a professional pressure washer, snow foam, steam and an extractor. We take photos at check-in and check-out.

5

We text you when it's ready

You get a text (and an email) the moment your car is done. Come to the wash spot, and our staff hand you your keys.

Need to change your date?

Contact us before booking closes for your date and we'll move you to another open date. If we ever need to move a service date, we'll contact you and move your booking to the next open date.

Water containment

Clean car, clean garage.

1

A containment mat under every car

A full-size mat with raised walls, set up away from floor drains. The nearest drain is covered.

2

All rinse water captured

Water stays on the mat, is squeegeed into a corner and wet/dry vacuumed into sealed containers we provide.

3

Sanitary drain or off site only

Emptied into the building's janitor or mop sink with management's OK, or taken away. Never into a storm or floor drain.

4

Professional equipment

Exteriors get a snow-foam pre-wash and a professional pressure washer, all on the mat. Interiors use steam and a closed extractor.

Follows the City of Ottawa Sewer Use By-law (2025-94): no wash water ever goes into storm or floor drains. Product safety data sheets are available on request.
